Hello, I’m Ryell or “Rye”. I’d like to warmly welcome you to My Communal Kitchen—a space created to share my love for healthy food and the co-creation of community.
My background is diverse, but it has always included an awareness for health and wellness. I recently graduated from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA where I focused on small-scale, organic agriculture, food sciences, and becoming a productive community member. My work in the food world and the mission of My Communal Kitchen is focused on holistic health and cultivating the awareness to truly thrive.
I believe that all bodies are different, and I propose that we simply listen to what ours has to tell us. My personal body loves to eat a lot of plants so the recipes shared here are all plant-based, and most always vegan and gluten free. It is my hope that this space can be one of inspiration, education, and artistic creation. Thank you for being here with me, I hope you enjoy these little pieces of my health and heart.
